Ingredients

  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 1/4 cup Pure Pumpkin Puree (unsweetened, plain)
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Equipment

  • - Baking Sheet
  • - Parchment Paper
  • Medium Bowl
  • Cookie Cutter
  • Wire rack

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, unsweetened applesauce, plain pumpkin puree, and ground cinnamon.
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour, 1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce, 1/4 cup Pure Pumpkin Puree (unsweetened, plain), 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with a spoon or your hands until a firm dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a tablespoon of flour at a time. If too dry, add a teaspoon of water.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  5. Using a cookie cutter, cut out desired shapes for your dog biscuits.
  6. Place the cut biscuits onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the biscuits are firm to the touch.
  8. Allow the biscuits to cool completely on a wire rack before serving them to your dog.
