Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, ground flaxseed, and cinnamon.2 cups Whole Wheat Flour, 1 tablespoon Ground Flaxseed, 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

- Gradually add water, about a tablespoon at a time, mixing until a firm dough forms. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 2 minutes until smooth.¼ cup Water
- Roll out the dough to about ¼ inch thickness. Cut the dough into strips resembling dental sticks, roughly 4-5 inches long and ½ inch wide.
- Place the sticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between them. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the sticks are firm and dry to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool completely on a wire rack before serving. This ensures they are safe and hardened for chewing.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Freeze for up to 2 months.
