- Bake two round cake layers and cool completely. Stack with buttercream filling and chill before shaping.

- Cover with pastel fondant. Decorate with edible lace, bows, frills, and sugar embellishments.
- Finish by piping borders and placing a baby-themed topper if desired.

Feel free to personalize the cake colors and decorations to match the occasion. Strawberry sponge or lemon cake with cream cheese or vanilla buttercream are both great flavor bases.
