Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the burrata ball in a small oven-safe dish or ramekin.
- Drizzle the burrata with olive oil. Sprinkle evenly with dried oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the burrata is softened, warmed through, and slightly puffed. The outer mozzarella should be very soft, and the creamy stracciatella inside will be warm and gooey.
- While the burrata bakes, prepare your serving platter. Arrange the toasted bread slices around the dish. Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes around the burrata.
- Once baked, carefully remove the dish from the oven. Drizzle the warm burrata generously with balsamic glaze. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- Serve immediately, encouraging guests to spread the warm, creamy burrata and tomatoes onto the toasted bread.
Notes
Be careful when handling the hot burrata and dish. For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes. You can swap the cherry tomatoes for roasted red peppers or sun-dried tomatoes.
