Ingredients

Fruit Base
  • 2 cups Strawberries Hulled and halved
  • 2 cups Green Grapes Halved
  • 2 cups Pineapple Cubed
  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • 2 large Kiwi Peeled and sliced
  • 2 medium Oranges Peeled and segmented
Honey-Lime Dressing
  • 1/4 cup Honey Or maple syrup for vegan option
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Lime Zest

Method

Instructions
  1. Prepare all the fruit by washing, hulling, peeling, and chopping/slicing them according to the notes in the ingredients list. Ensure uniform bite-sized pieces for easy serving.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, fresh lime juice, and lime zest until the dressing is smooth and well combined. Set aside.
  3. In a very large mixing bowl, gently combine the strawberries, grapes, pineapple, blueberries, kiwi, and orange segments. Be careful not to crush the softer fruits.
  4. Slowly drizzle the honey-lime dressing evenly over the fruit mixture. Use a large rubber spatula to gently toss the fruit until it is lightly coated with the dressing. Do not overmix.
  5. For the best flavor, cover the fruit salad and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together nicely.
  6. Give the salad one final gentle toss right before presenting it at your party. Serve cold.

Notes

To prevent browning for an extended party, you can add crisp fruits like apples or pears, tossing small amounts of lemon juice on them first before adding to the main bowl. This salad is best consumed within 24 hours.
