Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • ½ cup Mashed Banana Ensure the banana is ripe for easy mashing.
  • ½ cup Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Natural Peanut Butter xylitol-free!

Equipment

  • - Oven
  • - Baking Sheet
  • - Parchment Paper
  • Medium Bowl
  • Wire rack

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. This prevents sticking and makes clean-up easier.
  2. In a medium bowl, mash a ripe banana until it's smooth and free of large lumps. Add the egg and stir until well combined.
½ cup Mashed Banana, 1 large Egg
  3. Stir in the natural peanut butter (xylitol-free!) into the banana and egg mixture until it forms a relatively smooth paste.
    2 tablespoons Natural Peanut Butter
  4. Add the rolled oats and blueberries to the wet ingredient mixture. Gently stir everything together until just combined. The mixture will be thick and slightly sticky.
1 cup Rolled Oats, ½ cup Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet. You can gently flatten them slightly with the back of the spoon if desired, creating bite-sized treats.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges of the treats are lightly golden brown and the centers are firm to the touch. The exact time will depend on the size and thickness of your treats.
  7. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the treats cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. This resting period allows them to firm up properly.

Notes

Store cooled treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2-3 months.
Feed 1-2 treats per day depending on dog size/activity level.
