Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mashed Plain, Unsweetened Yogurt Ensure it contains no artificial sweeteners like Xylitol.
  • 1 Mashed Ripe Banana
  • 1/2 cup Mashed Fresh or Frozen Blueberries
  • 1/4 cup Water (Optional, for thinning consistency if needed)

Equipment

  • Bowl
  • Fork or potato masher
  • Ice cube trays or silicone molds or small, freezer-safe containers

Method

  1. In a bowl, mash one ripe banana until it's smooth and free of large lumps. Then, add 1/2 cup of blueberries and mash them as well. You can use a fork or potato masher for this.
1 Mashed Ripe Banana, 1/2 cup Mashed Fresh or Frozen Blueberries
  2. Add 1 cup of plain, unsweetened yogurt to the mashed banana and blueberries. Stir everything together thoroughly until well combined.
1 cup Mashed Plain, Unsweetened Yogurt, 1 Mashed Ripe Banana, 1/2 cup Mashed Fresh or Frozen Blueberries
  3. If the mixture seems too thick, gradually add water, about a tablespoon at a time, stirring until you reach your desired consistency for pouring.
    1/4 cup Water
  4. Spoon the mixture into ice cube trays, silicone molds, or small, freezer-safe containers. Fill them about three-quarters of the way full.
  5. Place the filled molds into the freezer. Allow them to freeze completely, which typically takes 4–6 hours, or until solid.
