  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Peanut Butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon

Equipment

  • - Baking Sheet

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Prepare the rolled oats according to package directions, usually by boiling them with water until softened. Let them cool slightly.
    1 cup Rolled Oats (cooked)
  3. In a separate bowl, lightly mash the fresh or frozen blueberries with a fork until they are broken down but still have some texture.
1/2 cup Fresh or Frozen Blueberries (mashed)
  4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cooked and slightly cooled oats, mashed blueberries, unsweetened applesauce, egg, and xylitol-free peanut butter until well-combined.
1 cup Rolled Oats (cooked), 1/2 cup Fresh or Frozen Blueberries (mashed), 1/4 cup Unsweetened Applesauce (mashed), 1 large Egg, 1 tablespoon Peanut Butter (xylitol-free)
  5. Stir in the cinnamon until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
    1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  6. Drop rounded spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each treat. You can gently flatten them slightly if desired.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the treats are firm to the touch.
  8. Let the Blueberry Dog Treats cool completely on the baking sheet before serving or storing. This ensures they firm up properly.
