  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheddar-jack blend for extra melty goodness), divided
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional, but highly recommended for authentic buffalo flavor)
  • Fresh chives or green onions chopped (for garnish, optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If you haven't cooked your chicken yet, you can boil, bake, or pan-fry it and then shred it using two forks or a stand mixer. Ensure the cream cheese is softened by leaving it at room temperature for about 30 minutes, which will make blending much easier.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix well with a spoon or rubber spatula until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined. This forms the creamy, tangy, and spicy base of your dip.
