- In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, fresh lime juice, and minced garlic. Stir until well blended and smooth. Taste and adjust the spice level by adding more minced chipotle pepper or adobo sauce if desired. Set aside.1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1-2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, 1 tablespoon adobo sauce, 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, 1 clove garlic
- Lightly warm the flour tortillas. You can do this by placing them one by one in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds per side until pliable, or by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving them for 20-30 seconds. This step makes them easier to roll without cracking.8 large flour tortillas
- Lay one warmed tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous tablespoon or two of the creamy chipotle aioli evenly over the surface of the tortilla, leaving a small border clear around the edges.8 large flour tortillas
- On one half of the aioli-covered tortilla, begin layering your ingredients. Start with a portion of the shredded lettuce, followed by a generous amount of sliced deli turkey breast. Arrange slices of crispy cooked bacon over the turkey.1 cup shredded lettuce, 1 pound sliced deli turkey breast, 8 slices crispy cooked bacon
- Next, artfully arrange slices of ripe avocado over the bacon. Scatter the chopped red onion and halved cherry tomatoes over the avocado. Finally, sprinkle a portion of the shredded cheddar cheese over the vegetables.1 large ripe avocado, 1/2 cup red onion, 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- To roll the wrap, carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla towards the center, just enough to enclose the fillings. Then, starting from the bottom edge where the fillings are most concentrated, tightly roll the tortilla upwards to create a compact wrap.
- You can serve the California Turkey Club Wrap whole, or for easier eating, cut each wrap in half diagonally using a sharp knife.
Notes
Store leftovers tightly wrapped in plastic wrap or aluminum foil in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 days. For optimal freshness, assemble just before serving or store fillings separately.
