Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chicken Bone Broth (low sodium, plain)
  • 1/4 cup Unflavored Gelatin Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Pure Pumpkin Puree (unsweetened, plain)
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Parsley (finely chopped)

Equipment

  • Small Saucepan
  • Silicone molds for pet treats or ice cube trays

Method

  1. In a small saucepan, gently heat 2 cups of low-sodium chicken bone broth over medium-low heat for about 2-3 minutes. Do not let it boil; aim for a warm, but not hot, temperature.
2 cups Chicken Bone Broth (low sodium, plain)
  2. While the broth is warming, sprinkle 1/4 cup of unflavored gelatin powder evenly over the surface of the warm broth. Let it sit for about 1 minute to allow the gelatin to bloom and soften.
2 cups Chicken Bone Broth (low sodium, plain), 1/4 cup Unflavored Gelatin Powder
  3. Whisk the mixture continuously for 1-2 minutes until the gelatin is completely dissolved and no lumps remain. The liquid should be smooth and slightly thickened.
  4. Stir in 1 tablespoon of plain pumpkin puree and 1 teaspoon of finely chopped fresh parsley. Whisk until these ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the broth mixture.
1 tablespoon Pure Pumpkin Puree (unsweetened, plain), 1 teaspoon Fresh Parsley (finely chopped)
  5. Carefully pour the mixture into silicone molds specifically designed for pet treats or ice cube trays. Fill each cavity evenly.
  6. Place the filled molds in the refrigerator and allow them to chill for at least 2-3 hours, or until the gummies are firm and fully set.
  7. Once firm, gently pop the gummy treats out of the molds. They are now ready to be served as a healthy and delicious reward!
