- In a jar or airtight container, combine the 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. - Add the 1 tablespoon of Nutella directly into the jar with the dry ingredients. Pour in 1 cup of your preferred milk. - Stir everything together vigorously. Use a spoon or a mini whisk to ensure the Nutella is fully incorporated into the milk and the cocoa powder is dissolved. Scrape down the sides and bottom of the jar to make sure no dry pockets of oats or cocoa remain.
- Secure the lid on your jar or container. Place it in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight (8-12 hours).
- In the morning, give your Chocolate Nutella Overnight Oats a good stir. If the mixture is too thick for your liking, you can stir in a splash more milk to reach your desired consistency. Add your favorite toppings.1 cup milk of choice
Notes
Best enjoyed chilled. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Keep toppings separate until ready to serve.
