- In a medium-sized jar, bowl, or airtight container, add the 1/2 cup of rolled oats. If you are using chia seeds, add them now as well. For an extra layer of warmth and flavor, stir in a pinch of cinnamon at this stage.1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, pinch cinnamon
- Pour in 1 cup of your chosen milk. If you’re opting for vanilla extract to enhance the aroma and taste, add it now.1 cup milk of choice, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Add your sweetener of choice. Start with 1-2 teaspoons and adjust based on your personal preference. Stir everything thoroughly to ensure the sweetener is well dissolved and evenly distributed throughout the mixture.1-2 teaspoons sweetener of choice
- Securely close the lid of your container or cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap. Place the mixture in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 4 hours, but ideally overnight.
- In the morning (or whenever you're ready to eat!), give your Cozy Classic Overnight Oats a good stir. If the mixture is too thick for your liking, you can add a splash more milk until it reaches your desired consistency. Garnish with your favorite toppings and dig in!
Notes
Refrigerate for up to 3-4 days. Can be frozen for up to 2-3 months. Gently reheat if preferred warm.
