Method
- Chill Your Ingredients: Ensure both your cranberry juice and Prosecco are thoroughly chilled. This is crucial for a perfectly refreshing Bellini. If your cranberry juice isn't cold enough, pop it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes before starting.1 cup 100% cranberry juice, 1 bottle chilled Prosecco or other dry sparkling wine
- Prepare the Cranberry Base: In a small pitcher or liquid measuring cup, pour the chilled cranberry juice. If you're using Cointreau for an extra layer of flavor, now is the time to add it to the cranberry juice and stir gently to combine.1 cup 100% cranberry juice, 1/4 cup Cointreau or orange liqueur
- Assemble the Bellinis: For each serving, pour about 1/4 to 1/3 cup (60-80ml) of the cranberry juice mixture into a champagne flute. Adjust the amount to your personal preference for sweetness and cranberry intensity.
- Top with Prosecco: Slowly top the cranberry juice with chilled Prosecco, filling the flute nearly to the brim. Pour slowly to prevent over-foaming and to preserve the beautiful layers of color.1 bottle chilled Prosecco or other dry sparkling wine
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish each Cranberry Bellini with a few fresh cranberries dropped directly into the flute. For an extra touch of elegance and aroma, you can also add a twist of orange zest or a thin orange slice to the rim. Serve immediately and enjoy!Fresh cranberries, Orange zest or thin orange slices
Notes
The cranberry juice mixture (cranberry juice and Cointreau, if using) can be prepared up to 24 hours ahead of time. Store it in an airtight container or a tightly covered pitcher in the refrigerator. Do not mix the Prosecco or sparkling wine until just before serving.
