- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the mashed sweet potato, shredded chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, unsweetened applesauce, melted coconut oil, and dried dill. - Roll small portions of the dough into bite-sized balls, about 1-inch in diameter. You can flatten them slightly if you prefer crispier edges.
- Place the formed bites onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown and firm to the touch. For extra crispiness, you can bake them for a few additional minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the Crispy Pickle Cheese Bites Dog cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2-3 months. Reheat gently if desired.
