Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Cucumber, seeded and roughly chopped
  • 1 cup Cantaloupe, seeded and roughly chopped
  • ½ cup Rolled Oats (uncooked)
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • ¼ cup Water add more if needed

  • Silicone dog treat molds
  • Ice cube tray

Method
 

  1. Ensure your cantaloupe is deseeded and cubed. For the cucumber, remove the seeds and chop it into manageable pieces.
    1 cup Cucumber, seeded and roughly chopped, 1 cup Cantaloupe, seeded and roughly chopped
  2. Add the chopped cucumber, cantaloupe, rolled oats, chia seeds, and ¼ cup of water to a blender or food processor.

  3. Blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth, pourable consistency. If it’s too thick, add another tablespoon of water at a time.
  4. Spoon the mixture into silicone dog treat molds or an ice cube tray, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
  5. Place the filled molds in the freezer and allow the treats to freeze completely, which typically takes 2-4 hours.
  6. Once frozen solid, pop out the Cucumber Melon Dog Treats and serve them to your happy pup!

Notes

Store frozen treats in an airtight container for up to 2-3 months. Feed 1-2 treats per day depending on dog size. Consult vet for specific dietary needs.
