Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chocolate candies
  • 1/4 cup chocolate ganache

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two cake pans.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract, then mix well.
  4. Stir in boiling water, then pour batter into pans.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, then cool completely.
  6. Layer cakes with chocolate frosting and whipped cream.
  7. Pour chocolate ganache over the top and let it drip.
  8. Decorate with chocolate chips and candies.
  9. Chill for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For an extra indulgent version, try using dark chocolate ganache and double the frosting between the layers.
