Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chocolate candies
  • 1/4 cup chocolate ganache

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two cake pans.
  • Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract, then mix well.
  • Stir in boiling water, then pour batter into pans.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, then cool completely.
  • Layer cakes with chocolate frosting and whipped cream.
  • Pour chocolate ganache over the top and let it drip.
  • Decorate with chocolate chips and candies.
  • Chill for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For an extra indulgent version, try using dark chocolate ganache and double the frosting between the layers.
