Ingredients

Fruit Base
  • 2 cups Strawberries Hulled and quartered
  • 2 cups Pineapple Cubed
  • 1 cup Blueberries Rinsed
  • 2 cups Green Grapes Halved
  • 3 medium Kiwi Peeled and sliced
  • 2 medium Oranges Peeled and segmented, membrane removed
Honey-Lime Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Lime Zest
  • 1 pinch Salt Optional, to enhance flavor

Method

Instructions
  1. Prepare all fruit components: wash, hull, chop, and segment the strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, and oranges as directed in the ingredient notes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, green grapes, kiwi, and orange segments.
  3. In a small separate bowl, whisk together the honey, fresh lime juice, lime zest, and the pinch of salt until the mixture is well combined and slightly emulsified.
  4. Pour the honey-lime dressing evenly over the mixed fruit. Toss very gently using a rubber spatula to ensure all the fruit is lightly coated without crushing the softer pieces.
  5. For the best flavor integration, cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving. This allows the dressing to slightly meld with the fruit juices.
  6. Serve chilled as a colorful addition to your brunch spread.

Notes

For best results, prepare the fruit shortly before assembly. If making ahead, it is best to dress the salad no more than 1 hour prior to serving to prevent excess liquid release.
