Method
- In a small bowl, thoroughly mash the ripe banana until it forms a smooth paste.1 ripe banana ripe banana
- Add the plain, unsweetened yogurt and the xylitol-free peanut butter to the mashed banana.1/2 cup plain, unsweetened yogurt, 2 tablespoons natural, xylitol-free peanut butter, 1 ripe banana ripe banana
- Stir all the ingredients together until thoroughly combined. The mixture should be thick and creamy.
- If the mixture is too thick for your liking, gradually add water, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency. It should be pourable but still hold its shape.1/4 cup water
- Spoon the mixture into ice cube trays, silicone molds (bone or paw shapes are fun!), or small paper cups.
- Place the filled molds in the freezer. Allow them to freeze completely, which typically takes 4-6 hours, or until solid.
- Once frozen, pop out a few pup pops for your dog to enjoy.
