Ingredients

For the Bake
  • 24 count Frozen pre-cooked dumplings (pork or chicken) Thawed slightly, or use directly from freezer
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
For the Everything Bagel Glaze
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese Softened
  • 2 tablespoons Milk Or water, to thin
  • 3 tablespoons Everything bagel seasoning Divided
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce Low sodium preferred
For Garnish (Optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Sliced green onions

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the frozen dumplings with olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly coated. Spread the dumplings in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the dumplings are golden brown and slightly crispy on the edges.
  4. While the dumplings bake, prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese, milk, soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of the everything bagel seasoning until smooth and pourable consistency is reached. If too thick, add milk 1 teaspoon at a time.
  5. Remove the baked dumplings from the oven. Drizzle the cream cheese glaze evenly over the hot dumplings.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining 2 tablespoons of everything bagel seasoning over the glaze. Garnish with sliced green onions, if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

This recipe works best with pan-fried or steamed dumplings rather than boiled ones, as they hold their structure better during baking. Adjust baking time based on your oven and the starting state of your dumplings.
