Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh Blueberries Mashed lightly
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 1 cup Oat Flour (or finely ground oats)
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil melted

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • - Baking Sheet
  • - Parchment Paper

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mash the blueberries lightly with a fork before adding them to ensure their flavorful juices are released and well distributed. Mix the applesauce, oat flour, and melted coconut oil until a thick, cookie-dough-like batter forms.
1 cup Fresh Blueberries, 1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce, 1 cup Oat Flour (or finely ground oats), 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
  3. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Aim for bite-sized portions, about 1 tablespoon each, leaving a little space between them as they may spread slightly.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes. The treats should be firm to the touch and slightly golden around the edges. They will firm up further as they cool.
  5. Allow to cool completely before serving. Ensuring they are fully cooled is important for your dog's safety and for the treats to reach their final, delightful texture.

Notes
