Method
- Start by brewing one cup of your favorite coffee. For the best flavor, we recommend using a strong brew. You can achieve this by using more coffee grounds than usual or by opting for a darker roast. Once brewed, allow it to cool completely. You can speed this up by brewing it ahead of time and refrigerating it, or by placing the hot coffee in a heat-safe container and then in an ice bath.
- In a glass or shaker, pour in the chilled brewed coffee, sweetened condensed milk, and your chosen milk. If you're using a shaker, this is where you'll add your liquid ingredients. If you're building directly in the glass, add them in this order.1 cup strongly brewed hot coffee (chilled), 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy of your choice)
- The sweetened condensed milk provides the primary sweetness and creamy base for this iced coffee. Stir it well with the coffee and milk. Taste the mixture; if you prefer it sweeter, you can add a touch more condensed milk or a dash of your preferred sweetener like sugar or a sugar-free alternative, keeping in mind the condensed milk is already sweet.1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- If you are not using a shaker, stir the ingredients thoroughly in your serving glass until the condensed milk is fully incorporated into the coffee and milk. This ensures a uniform sweetness and creamy texture throughout your beverage.
- Fill your serving glass generously with ice cubes. The more ice, the colder and more refreshing your Easy Condensed Milk Iced Coffee will be.ice cubes
- Gently pour the coffee and condensed milk mixture over the ice. If you used a shaker, you can now pour the chilled mixture into your ice-filled glass.
- For an extra treat, top your Easy Condensed Milk Iced Coffee with a dollop of whipped cream, a swirl of chocolate or caramel syrup, or a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg. Serve immediately and savor every creamy, sweet sip!
Notes
The best way to enjoy leftovers is to give them a good stir and serve them chilled over fresh ice.
