Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the 1 cup of uncooked rolled oats and 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour.

1/4 cup Unsweetened Applesauce, 1 large Egg
  4. Pour in 1/4 cup of water and sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
1/4 cup Water, 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

  6. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  7. Use cookie cutters to create fun fall shapes, or simply cut the dough into small squares or bite-sized pieces.
  8. Place the shaped treats onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned and the treats are firm to the touch.
  10. Let the treats cool completely on a wire rack before serving them to your dog.
