Ingredients

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour and rolled oats.

  4. Stir everything together until a dough begins to form. If the dough seems too dry, add the water a tablespoon at a time until it comes together. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 2 minutes until smooth.

  5. Roll the dough out to about 1/4-inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut out your desired shapes.
  6. Place the cut biscuits onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  7. Let the biscuits cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days. Refrigerate for up to a week. Freeze for up to 2-3 months.
