- In a small heatproof bowl or mug, combine the 1 tablespoon of packed brown sugar with 2 tablespoons of hot water. Stir vigorously until the brown sugar is completely dissolved and you have a smooth, caramel-colored liquid.1 tablespoon brown sugar, 2 tablespoons hot water

- Pour the prepared brown sugar syrup into the glass with the milk and coffee. Stir everything together gently until well combined.

Notes
The prepared brown sugar syrup can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Brewed coffee or espresso can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
It is not recommended to store the fully assembled iced coffee with ice.
