- In a small saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved, creating a simple syrup. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.1 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup water
- While the syrup cools, juice your limes to obtain 1 ½ cups of fresh lime juice. Strain the juice to remove any pulp or seeds.1.5 cups fresh lime juice
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the cooled lime syrup, fresh lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Stir in the heavy cream until well combined.Pinch salt, 1.5 cups fresh lime juice, 1 cup granulated sugar, 0.5 cup heavy cream
- Carefully pour the lime mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container. Do not fill past the maximum fill line.
- Secure the lid on the Ninja Creami pint and place it in the freezer. Allow it to freeze for at least 12-24 hours, or until completely solid.
- Once frozen solid, remove the lid from the pint. Place the pint into the outer bowl of your Ninja Creami. Attach the outer bowl lid and ensure the paddle is properly secured. Select the "Sorbet" function on your Ninja Creami.
- After the cycle is complete, open the lid and check the consistency of the sherbet. If it appears crumbly or powdery, add a tablespoon or two of additional water or lime juice and re-spin using the "Re-spin" function. Continue re-spinning one tablespoon at a time until you achieve a smooth, creamy texture.1.5 cups fresh lime juice, 1 cup water
- Once the desired consistency is reached, scoop the Easy Ninja Creami Lime Sherbet into bowls and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container. Press parchment paper on the surface to prevent ice crystals. May need to re-spin or let sit at room temperature to soften.
