- Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to room temperature for the smoothest texture.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sifted powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until the mixture is light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping using a rubber spatula until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can deflate the volume.
- Gently marble the strawberry jam or preserves into the dip mixture. Use the spatula to swirl the jam in 2-3 times; avoid fully incorporating it for a visually appealing swirl effect.
- Chill the fruit dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld and the dip to firm up slightly.

Notes
