Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 1/4 cup Natural Peanut Butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1/4 cup Dried Cranberries (unsweetened, chopped)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, unsweetened applesauce, xylitol-free natural peanut butter, chopped unsweetened dried cranberries, egg, and cinnamon.

  3. Stir all ingredients together until well combined. The mixture should be thick enough to hold its shape.
  4. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter) or flatten them slightly with your palm. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each treat.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the treats are firm to the touch.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the treats cool completely on the sheet before serving or storing.

Notes

For small dogs, offer 1-2 treats per day. Medium-sized dogs can enjoy 2-3 treats daily, while large dogs can have 3-4. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days. Freeze for up to 2-3 months.
