Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Plain, Unsweetened Greek Yogurt Rich in probiotics for a happy tummy and calcium for strong bones.
  • ½ cup Pumpkin Puree 100% pure pumpkin, not pie filling. An excellent source of fiber, aiding digestion and promoting regular bowel movements.
  • ¼ cup Fresh Mint Leaves finely chopped. Naturally freshens breath and offers a burst of cool flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley finely chopped. Another fantastic breath-freshening herb, also packed with vitamins.
  • 1 teaspoon Coconut Oil virgin, unrefined. Supports skin and coat health, and can be beneficial for digestion.
  • 1 tablespoon Natural Peanut Butter xylitol-free. Adds extra flavor and can be a good source of healthy fats. Optional.

Equipment

  • Medium Bowl
  • Ice cube trays or small silicone molds or shallow freezer-safe container
  • Parchment paper (if using shallow container)

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, add the plain, unsweetened Greek yogurt and pumpkin puree. Stir them together until they are well combined and form a smooth consistency.
    1 cup Plain, Unsweetened Greek Yogurt, ½ cup Pumpkin Puree
  2. Gently fold in the finely chopped fresh mint leaves and parsley. If using, stir in the optional xylitol-free peanut butter and the virgin coconut oil until evenly distributed.
    ¼ cup Fresh Mint Leaves, 2 tablespoons Parsley, 1 tablespoon Natural Peanut Butter, 1 teaspoon Coconut Oil
  3. Spoon the mixture into ice cube trays, small silicone molds, or even a shallow freezer-safe container lined with parchment paper. Ensure the portions are dog-sized.
  4. Place the filled trays or container in the freezer. Allow the treats to freeze completely solid, which typically takes about 4-6 hours, depending on your freezer’s temperature and the size of your portions.
  5. Once frozen, pop out the individual treats for your dog to enjoy as a refreshing snack.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2-3 months. Thaw slightly before serving.
