- In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
- Cut in the cold butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle topping over cherry filling.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
Use chilled butter for a crispier topping.
For added depth, try almond extract or a splash of bourbon.
