- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash and scrub the sweet potato thoroughly. Do not peel it.1 Large Sweet Potato

- Bake for 20-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the sweet potato is tender and slightly firm to the touch. The exact time will depend on the thickness of your cuts. They should be chewy but not mushy.
- Remove from the oven and let the fresh sweet potato chews for dogs cool completely on the baking sheet. This allows them to firm up further.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days. Freeze for up to 2-3 months. Reheat gently if desired.
