Ingredients

For the Dip
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt or to taste
For the Topping (Optional)
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles finely chopped and drained
  • 2 tbsp panko breadcrumbs toasted
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped (for garnish)
For Serving
  • tortilla chips or your favorite dippers
  • veggie sticks like carrots or celery

Method

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and dill pickle juice.
  2. Beat with an electric mixer or whisk vigorously until smooth and well combined.
  3. Stir in the chopped fresh dill, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until evenly distributed. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  4. If using the optional topping, gently fold in the finely chopped dill pickles.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. If topping, sprinkle the toasted panko breadcrumbs and remaining chopped fresh dill over the top.
  6. Serve immediately with tortilla chips, veggie sticks, or your favorite dippers. For best flavor, you can cover and chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. If chilled, allow the dip to sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes before serving for a creamier texture.

Notes

This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. If you omit the pickles from the dip itself, you can add more chopped pickles as a topping.
