Method
- If not already cooked, boil or bake chicken breast until thoroughly cooked through. Allow it to cool slightly.
- Finely shred or dice the cooked chicken breast into small, manageable pieces. Gently rinse the fresh blueberries.1 cup Cooked, Plain Chicken Breast, ½ cup Fresh Blueberries
- In a blender or food processor, combine the shredded chicken, whole blueberries, and plain Greek yogurt. Add the water.1 cup Cooked, Plain Chicken Breast, ½ cup Fresh Blueberries, ½ cup Unsweetened, Plain Greek Yogurt, ¼ cup Water
- Pulse until the mixture is well combined but still has a slightly chunky texture. You don’t want a completely smooth puree; some texture is nice!
- Spoon the mixture into popsicle molds, ice cube trays, or even small silicone muffin liners. Fill them about ¾ full to allow for expansion.
- Place the filled molds into your freezer and freeze until solid. This typically takes 4-6 hours, but can vary depending on your freezer.
- Once frozen solid, pop out the pupsicles and serve one or two to your happy dog as a special treat!
Notes
Store any leftover Frozen Chicken Blueberry Pup Pops in an airtight container or a resealable freezer bag in your freezer for up to 2-3 months. Introduce to your dog slowly.
