Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 100% Pure Pumpkin Puree canned, not pie filling
  • 1/2 cup Natural Peanut Butter xylitol-free, creamy or crunchy
  • 1/4 cup Plain Yogurt unsweetened, plain
  • 1 large Egg lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened Applesauce smooth

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Whisk or Spoon
  • Silicone Ice Cube Tray or Small Silicone Molds
  • Standard Ice Cube Tray (optional, lined with parchment paper)
  • Freezer

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the 1 cup of 100% pure pumpkin puree, 1/2 cup of xylitol-free natural peanut butter, 1/4 cup of unsweetened plain yogurt, and 1 large lightly beaten egg.

  2. Use a whisk or a spoon to combine all the wet ingredients until they are well incorporated and have a smooth, uniform consistency.
  3. Stir in the 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce until just combined. Avoid overmixing at this stage.

  4. Spoon the mixture into a silicone ice cube tray, small silicone molds, or a standard ice cube tray lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Fill each mold about three-quarters full.
  5. Place the tray in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours, or until the treats are completely firm and solidified.
  6. Once frozen solid, gently pop the frozen pumpkin peanut butter dog treats out of the molds. They are now ready to be served.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2-3 months. Serve frozen.
