- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking dish or a similar-sized oven-safe dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, gluten-free all-purpose flour blend, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and fresh lemon juice. - Pour the coated apple mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Ensure the apples are in a single layer as much as possible.
- In a separate medium bowl, combine the gluten-free rolled oats, gluten-free all-purpose flour blend, packed light brown sugar, and salt. - Add the cold, cubed unsalted butter to the dry topping ingredients. Use a pastry blender, your fingertips, or two forks to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs, with some pea-sized pieces of butter remaining.1/2 cup unsalted butter
- Evenly sprinkle the oat topping mixture over the apples in the baking dish. Ensure the entire surface of the apples is covered.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and crisp, and the apple filling is bubbly and tender.
- Remove the Gluten-Free Apple Crisp from the oven and let it cool for at least 10-15 minutes before serving.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven (recommended) or microwave.
