  • ¼ cup mint chocolate chip ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Before you begin mixing your shakes, it's a good idea to chill your serving glasses in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes. This will help keep your Gold Coin Shake cold for longer. You can also rim the glasses with chocolate syrup and sprinkles if you desire extra flair.

  2. In a blender, add the softened vanilla ice cream, milk, and heavy cream. If you prefer a sweeter shake, add the granulated sugar at this stage.

  3. Next, add the mint chocolate chip ice cream to the blender. This is where the characteristic mint flavor and speckles of chocolate come in!

  6. Secure the lid on your blender and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, with no ice cream lumps remaining. Be careful not to over-blend, as this can make the shake too thin.
