Ingredients

Produce & Dairy
  • 4 Nectarines Ripe but firm, halved and pitted
  • 1 ball Burrata Cheese Room temperature
  • 10 Fresh Basil Leaves For garnish
Dressing & Seasoning
  • 3 tbsp Honey High-quality preferred
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Extra virgin
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt Flaky, for finishing
  • 1 tsp Balsamic Glaze Optional, for extra tang

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your grill (or grill pan) to medium-high heat. Lightly brush the cut sides of the nectarines with olive oil.
  2. Place the nectarine halves cut-side down on the preheated grill. Grill for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until distinct grill marks appear and the fruit has softened slightly but still holds its shape.
  3. Remove the grilled nectarines from the heat and arrange them on a serving platter, cut-side up.
  4. Gently tear the ball of burrata cheese into rough pieces and distribute it artfully over the warm nectarines.
  5. Drizzle the top generously with honey. If using, add thin ribbons of balsamic glaze over the cheese and fruit.
  6. Garnish immediately with freshly torn basil leaves and a final sprinkle of flaky sea salt to balance the sweetness.

Notes

If nectarines are unavailable, peaches or firm plums work well as substitutes. Serve immediately while the nectarines are still warm for the best contrast with the cool, creamy burrata.
