- In a medium saucepan, combine the water, butter, 1 tablespoon of sugar, cinnamon, and salt. - You can either spoon the dough directly into the air fryer basket (forming smaller dollops) or, for a more traditional shape, transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip and pipe small churro shapes. If spooning, aim for about 1-inch mounds.
- Carefully place the churro bites in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don't touch. You may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until the churro bites are puffed up and golden brown. The exact time will depend on your air fryer and the size of your bites.
- While the churro bites are still warm, gently toss them in the prepared cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated.1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon
