- In a large bowl, combine the finely chopped cooked chicken breast and the mashed cooked sweet potato.1 cup Cooked Chicken Breast, ½ cup Cooked Sweet Potato
- Gently fold in the fresh blueberries (mash them slightly if your dog prefers a softer texture) and the finely grated or pureed cooked carrots.¼ cup Fresh Blueberries, ¼ cup Cooked Carrots
- Stir in the plain cooked brown rice and the chia seeds. Ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed.1 tablespoon Cooked Brown Rice, 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls. Briefly twist each ball to create the 'twist' shape, making them easy for your dog to pick up and chew.
- Place the formed twists on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Can be frozen for up to 2-3 months. Consult your veterinarian before introducing new foods to your dog's diet.
