- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats and chia seeds. Stir them together.1 cup Rolled Oats (Old-Fashioned Oats), 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
- In a separate small bowl, thoroughly mash the fresh strawberries with a fork until they are mostly broken down.1/2 cup Fresh Strawberries
- To the mashed strawberries, add the unsweetened apple sauce, the large egg, and the unsweetened, unsalted peanut butter. - Pour the wet ingredient mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients (oats and chia seeds). Stir everything with a spoon or spatula until a thick, sticky dough forms.1 cup Rolled Oats (Old-Fashioned Oats), 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
- Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart. You can gently flatten them with the back of the spoon if you prefer.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown and the nibbles are firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let the Healthy Strawberry Oat Nibbles for Dogs cool completely on the baking sheet before offering any to your dog.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days. Can be frozen for up to 2-3 months.
