  • 1/4 cup Almond Milk Unsweetened, adjust for desired consistency
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds For added fiber and omega-3s
  • 4 cubes Ice Optional, if melons aren't fully frozen

Instructions
  1. Place the frozen honeydew cubes, Greek yogurt, and protein powder into a high-speed blender jar.
  2. Add the almond milk and chia seeds to the blender. Ensure there is enough liquid to cover the blades comfortably.
  3. Start blending on a low speed to break down the frozen melon, then gradually increase to high speed.
  4. Continue blending until the consistency is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides with a spatula if necessary.
  5. Check the thickness. If the smoothie is too thick, add almond milk 1 tablespoon at a time until the desired pourable consistency is reached. If too thin, add 1-2 more ice cubes and blend briefly.
  6. Pour the smoothie immediately into a glass. Serve plain or garnish with a small mint leaf for presentation.

Notes

Freezing the honeydew beforehand is crucial for achieving a thick, cold texture without watering down the flavor with excess ice. If you prefer a sweeter taste, add 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup before blending.
