Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs or Breasts Cooked and shredded or finely chopped
  • 1 cup White Rice Cooked according to package directions
  • 1/2 cup Cooked Carrots Diced or mashed
  • 1/4 cup Cooked Green Beans Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Water or Low-Sodium Chicken Broth unsalted, no onion or garlic

Method
 

  1. Place chicken thighs or breasts in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked through and no pink remains.

  2. While the chicken cooks, prepare 1 cup of white rice according to package instructions. Aim for a soft, cooked texture.

  3. In a separate small pot, steam or boil diced carrots and chopped green beans until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. Once the chicken is cooked, carefully remove it from the pot and let it cool slightly. Shred it using two forks or finely chop it into bite-sized pieces.

  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked, shredded chicken, cooked white rice, cooked carrots, and cooked green beans.

  6. Drizzle the olive oil over the mixture. Add 1/4 cup of water or unsalted, dog-safe chicken broth to moisten the food.

  7. Gently mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Ensure everything is evenly distributed.
  8. Allow the mixture to cool completely before serving to your dog.
