Method
- In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix the plain unsweetened yogurt, 100% pure pumpkin puree, raw honey, and cinnamon until well combined and the mixture has a uniform, smooth texture.1 cup plain, unsweetened yogurt, 1/2 cup 100% pure pumpkin puree, 1 tablespoon raw honey, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Spoon the mixture into ice cube trays, small silicone molds designed for pet treats, or even a shallow baking dish lined with parchment paper. This step ensures easy portioning and serving later.
- Place the filled molds or baking dish into your freezer. Allow them to freeze completely, which typically takes about 2-3 hours, until the treats are firm to the touch.
- Once fully frozen, carefully pop the treats out of their molds or cut the frozen block into smaller pieces if using a baking dish. Serve one or two frozen treats to your dog as a special reward or cooling snack on a warm day.
Notes
Consult your veterinarian before introducing new foods to your dog's diet. Serve as an occasional reward or cooling snack, not a full meal.
