  • ¼ cup Rolled Oats

Equipment

  • - Oven
  • - Baking Sheet

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the unsweetened peanut butter, mashed ripe bananas, and the egg. Stir until thoroughly mixed and smooth.
1 cup Unsweetened Peanut Butter, 2 Ripe Bananas Mashed, 1 Egg
  3. Gradually add the whole wheat flour (or oat flour) and rolled oats to the wet mixture. Stir until a thick, dough-like consistency forms.
½ cup Whole Wheat Flour, ¼ cup Rolled Oats
  4. Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, about an inch apart. For a flatter treat, gently press down on each ball with a fork.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the treats are firm to the touch. The exact time will depend on the size and thickness of your treats.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the Homemade Peanut Butter Banana Dog Treats cool completely on a wire rack before serving. This is crucial to ensure they are safe and easy for your dog to eat.
