Ingredients

Latte Base
  • 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree not pumpkin pie filling
  • 1-2 tbsp sugar or sweetener to taste
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice store-bought or homemade
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Optional Toppings
  • whipped cream
  • ground cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice for garnish
  • caramel sauce drizzle on top

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Whisk or Milk Frother
  • Coffee Mug

Method

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract.
  2. Heat over medium heat, whisking constantly until warmed through and sugar dissolves. Do not boil.
  3. Remove from heat. Froth the milk mixture using a frother, whisk, or immersion blender until foamy.
  4. Pour the brewed coffee into your mug.
  5. Top with the pumpkin spice milk mixture.
  6. Add optional toppings like whipped cream, cinnamon, or caramel drizzle. Enjoy!

Notes

Customize sweetness, milk type, and spice levels to your liking. Make it iced by letting the mixture cool and pouring over ice. Store leftover milk mixture in the fridge for up to 2 days.
