Instructions
- Ensure the honeydew melon is thoroughly chilled before starting. Cut 2 cups of honeydew into small, manageable cubes.
- Place the cubed honeydew melon, vanilla ice cream, milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract into a high-powered blender.
- Add 4-5 small ice cubes if you prefer a thicker consistency, or omit them if the melon is well-frozen.
- Blend on low speed initially, gradually increasing to high. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides once or twice if necessary.
- Taste the milkshake and adjust sweetness if needed, adding a touch more sugar if desired, and blend for a few more seconds.
- Pour the finished milkshake immediately into two chilled glasses. Serve immediately with a wide straw.
Notes
For an extra vibrant color, add a tiny drop of green food coloring if your honeydew variety is very pale. Using frozen honeydew chunks instead of fresh melon and ice cubes will result in a thicker milkshake.
