Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking dish or a similar-sized oven-safe dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, and ranch dressing. Use a sturdy spatula or an electric mixer to beat until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Ensure there are no lumps of cream cheese remaining.

  3. Stir in the shredded cooked chicken, 1/2 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese, and 1/4 cup of the shredded Monterey Jack cheese into the cream cheese mixture. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

  4. Spoon the chicken dip mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly with the back of your spoon or spatula.
  5. Generously sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup of Monterey Jack cheese over the top of the dip. This will create a beautiful, bubbly, golden-brown crust.

  6. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly around the edges, and the cheese on top is melted and lightly golden brown.
  7. Carefully remove the Hot Buffalo Chicken Dip from the oven. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. If desired, garnish with chopped green onions before digging in.
