Ingredients

For the Tea Concentrate
  • 1 sachet or tea bag Earl Grey Tea High quality recommended
  • 2 tablespoons Hot Water
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Syrup Or to taste
For Assembly
  • 1 cup Milk of Choice Dairy or unsweetened oat milk works well
  • 1/2 cup Ice Cubes Adjust based on glass size

Method

Instructions
  1. Steep the Earl Grey tea bag in 2 tablespoons of very hot water for 4-5 minutes to create a strong concentrate. Do not over-steep, as it can become bitter.
  2. While the tea is steeping, add the vanilla syrup to the bottom of your serving glass.
  3. Remove the tea bag from the concentrate and stir in the vanilla syrup, ensuring it dissolves completely into the hot tea.
  4. Fill your serving glass generously with ice cubes.
  5. Pour the chilled vanilla-tea concentrate over the ice.
  6. Slowly top the mixture with 1 cup of your preferred milk, pouring over the back of a spoon if you want layering.
  7. Stir gently to combine all ingredients and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For a sweeter drink, feel free to add an extra half teaspoon of vanilla syrup directly to the milk before pouring. Chill the tea concentrate ahead of time for faster preparation.
