Ingredients

For the Dip Base
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Shredded Provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
The Hoagie Fillings
  • 6 oz Genoa Salami Thinly sliced, chopped
  • 6 oz Ham Thinly sliced, chopped
  • 4 oz Pepperoni Thinly sliced, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Red onion Finely diced
  • 1/4 cup Black olives Sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup Shredded Mozzarella cheese For topping
For Serving
  • 1 bag Crusty bread or bagel chips For dipping

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking dish or equivalent oven-safe skillet.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, provolone cheese, and Parmesan cheese until smooth. This forms the creamy base.
  3. Add the chopped salami, ham, pepperoni, diced red onion, sliced black olives, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder to the cheese mixture. Fold gently until all ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the base.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it into an even layer. Sprinkle the reserved 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese topping is melted and lightly golden brown around the edges.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving warm with toasted baguette slices, pita chips, or sturdy crackers.

Notes

For an extra authentic touch, drizzle a teaspoon of red wine vinegar over the top just before serving. If the top browns too quickly, loosely cover with foil for the last 5 minutes of baking.
