Method
- Begin by brewing a strong batch of your favorite coffee. Once brewed, allow it to cool completely. You can speed this up by brewing it ahead of time and refrigerating it, or by using an espresso machine for a concentrated shot that cools faster. Ensure it's thoroughly chilled before proceeding.1 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled
- In a blender or a large jar, combine the chilled brewed coffee, unsweetened almond milk (or your chosen keto milk), and heavy whipping cream.1 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- Add your keto-friendly sweetener, starting with 1 tablespoon, and the vanilla extract. If you're using any optional syrups, add them now as well.1-2 tablespoons keto-friendly sweetener, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, Keto-friendly chocolate syrup or sugar-free caramel syrup
- Blender Method: Secure the lid on your blender and blend on high speed for about 30-60 seconds, or until the mixture is well combined and slightly frothy.
- Shaker Jar Method: If you don't have a blender, pour all the ingredients into a large, sturdy jar with a tight-fitting lid. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for at least 1 minute, or until the mixture is well incorporated and has a slight froth.
- Fill two tall glasses generously with ice cubes.ice cubes
- Carefully pour the keto iced coffee mixture over the ice in each glass.
- If you're feeling extra indulgent, top with a dollop of zero-carb whipped cream or a drizzle of sugar-free caramel or chocolate syrup.Zero-carb whipped cream, Keto-friendly chocolate syrup or sugar-free caramel syrup
- Give it a quick stir with a straw or spoon, and enjoy your delicious, homemade Keto Iced Coffee!
